Our Story

Fowark didn't begin as an investment company. Originally, it started as an idea for a real estate company that would build co-living communities for ambitious founders — places where entrepreneurs could live together, work together, and build the future together. The vision was bold, but the project never made it beyond the concept stage. After the idea failed, founder Aaron Vinod John began asking a different question: What if, instead of building one company, he could help build thousands? That question became the foundation of Fowark. Today, Fowark is a holding company focused on acquiring businesses, funding startups, investing in public markets, real estate, private companies, and other opportunities that have the potential to create value and move the world forward. At its core, Fowark exists to back people, businesses, and ideas. We believe the world's greatest advances begin with individuals willing to challenge the status quo, take risks, and build something better. Whether through capital, ownership, partnership, or entrepreneurship, our goal is to help turn ambitious ideas into reality. The story behind Fowark reflects the story of its founder. Born in Kerala, India, raised in Kuwait, and later moving to New Zealand, Aaron's path has never been conventional. At fourteen, he arrived in New Zealand knowing few people and searching for purpose. While others spent their time playing video games or attending parties, Aaron became obsessed with adventure, exploration, and the sea. His first boat wasn't really a boat at all. Using a discarded pallet and a piece of wood as a paddle, he launched himself into the waters of Whangārei in an attempt to get afloat. The project failed almost immediately. He got soaked, was told to remove it from the marina, and faced criticism from people who didn't understand what he was trying to do. But he kept going. With help from local sailors, recycled materials, and the support of a community that began to believe in him, Aaron slowly turned an impossible dream into reality. What started as a pallet raft eventually became a kayak, and later a sailboat that he would live aboard full-time. The lesson stayed with him. Big ideas often begin small. Most people only see success once it arrives. Few see the years of failure, experimentation, persistence, and belief that came before it. Fowark was built on that same philosophy.
